With the use of simple raw materials such as ink and pencil she illustrates her visions. In elegant but strong lines she enraptures a world that is both feminine and dark. She emphasizestransformation, fragility, and fantasy in a susceptible and delicate way.
Her work has a strong connection with both high fashion and the human body.
"I get inspired by courage, fairytales, myths, nightmares, Disney, outcasts, punks, sex, vulnerability, nature, humanity, just by life. My drawings are mostly black and white, to me that feels natural, simple like night and day.
I mostly draw people; women. I get obsessed with faces, postures, eyes and my aesthetic is highly influenced by fashion. "

Melissa Haslam
Based in Australia, with a background in graphic design and painting, haslam has developed a body of work "with an emphasis on narrative theme and a romanticized, escapist view of the world. Her paintings are populated by beautiful females in fairytale-like scenarios. Influences include botanical drawings, the pre-raphaelites, japanese illustration and contemporary fashion photography."

Jarno Kettunen
Fashion illustrations described by Kettunen as "direct, energetic, spontaneous and intuitive representations."
He states that "by capturing only the essence, they are expressions of moments, experiences and feelings such as short interactions with live models, drawing backstage at fashion shows or capturing the show at concerts or the theater. Inspired by the current popular culture, I draw mostly human figures, but in an abstracted and expressive manner by using techniques of fine arts such as in (Neo) Expressionism."

Vania Zouravliov
Russian-born Vania Zouravliov was inspired from an early age by influences as diverse as The Bible, Dante’s Divine Comedy, early Disney animation and North American Indians. Something of a child prodigy in his homeland, he was championed by many influential classical musicians including Ashkenazi, Spivakov and Menuhin. He even had television programs made about him and was introduced to famous communist artists, godfathers of social realism, who told him that his work was from the Devil.
By the age of 13, Vania Zouravliov was exhibiting internationally, visited Canterbury several times as well as Paris, Colmar and Berlin. He subsequently studied in the UK, and during this time began creating illustrations for The Scotsman and comics for Fantagraphics and Dark Horse in the US. His most recent projects have been for Beck's The Informationand National Geographic.
